A sanctified soul is a satisfied soul. You were consecrated and made for the Lord. You are separated from the world and do not conform to it. The things that you used to do in this sinful world do not appeal to you anymore because you are committed to your calling. How will you say that you are satisfied when you are not living for the Lord? You will walk around empty.
Philippians 4:4-7 says, “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.“
Paul ministered to Philippos and established the Philippian church. He felt their love because even when he was in prison when he wrote this epistle, he called them his brothers and sisters.
In the Bible, if you are a true believer and are a discipler, and your followers keep on growing, you will receive a crown of rejoicing. All Christians want to bring many souls to Christ. If you are sanctified, you are satisfied. and when you are satisfied, then you have joy in your heart. The subject of joy is God Himself. This is the fruit of the Holy Spirit as you continuously grow in the wisdom and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Paul asked the Philippians to rejoice in the Lord always. Do you only rejoice when your life circumstances are good? No. Real joy in the Lord can be found in all and every situation. Not only when everything is going your way; but also when bad things happen to us. When we are satisfied in Christ, we become effective ministers as we rejoice in His presence. Christ is coming soon so you have to continue with your walk with God. If you are holding on to the word of God, you have no reason to be anxious. You will have peace that surpasses all understanding.
How can you experience joy in your Christian life?
Be united with the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “But whoever is united with the Lord is one with Him in spirit.” Revelation comes when your spirit and God’s spirit is one.
Be humble, diligent and kind to one another. Ephesians 4:2 says, “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” The Bible says that the first will be last and the last will be first. The Lord will put up those who are humble and meek.
Be kind and compassionate to one another just like how Paul was to the Philippians.
Everybody has a destiny - that is, to know God with your whole heart. Continue t grow in Him all the days of your life. Do not be affected by anything around you. The world is chaotic as it is because Jesus is coming back soon. In your family, even if only one is a Christian, it will still be chaotic because not everyone has received the joy that only God can give. Rejoice always in the Lord because of what He did for you. Even when you are in the midst of trials, rejoice.
